For Physicians and Health Professionals:

Ten reasons to partner with All-American Allergy Alternatives, LLC and Embrace Pharmacy

  1. Free Enrollment: Enroll in our program at no cost. There is no contract in order to use our services. Once enrolled, no further action is needed. You will be furnished with free educational materials and promotional supplies. If desired, your practice can be listed on our website locator page.

  2. Fully Licensed Pharmacy: Embrace Pharmacy is a fully licensed facility. Our pharmacists will fill your prescriptions for inhalant and food allergies in accordance with all state and federal pharmacy laws.

  3. Health Professionals other than physicians can prescribe: If you are an MD or a DO, you can prescribe sublingual immunotherapy/allergy drops (SLIT) for your patients. Also, many PA's and APNP's can prescribe drops.  You do not need to be an ENT or an allergist. We will provide educational and support tools to ensure the best outcome for your patients. A board-certified professional is available to provide support and offer solutions for your sublingual immunotherapy needs.

  4. Convenient: The once-daily treatment at home is convenient for patients. The ease of prescribing and administering treatment is convenient for physicians and health professionals.

    DEAL:
Diagnose: By using medical history and blood tests, you are able to diagnose your patient’s allergies and determine what allergens to include in their prescription.

Educate: By using our educational materials, you are easily able to educate your patient regarding the use of prescription allergy drops and any precautions involved with taking this medication.

Administer: With a follow-up appointment two to three weeks after the initial consultation, you can confirm that your patient is able to appropriately self-administer the drops. They will bring their initial prescription (vial #1) to their appointment, and you (their physician or health professional) or a nurse can review the patient instructions sheet with them.

Look/Listen: By having your patient administer their first dose in the office, you are able to observe for adverse reactions.

  5. Cost Effective: The patient pays the pharmacy directly, eliminating third-party resale costs. Our price structure makes allergy drops an affordable option for ALL patients. The costs of injection-based co-pays and symptom-relieving medications are on the rise, thus making the AAAA drops a more attractive option to shots, prescription and over-the-counter medications.

  6. Treat the Underlying Cause of Allergies: Sublingual immunotherapy has been shown to effectively treat the underlying cause of allergies. Therefore, many patients have reported the need for fewer symptom-relieving medications to control their allergies.

  7. AAOA Consensus Protocol: We recommend the consensus protocol published by the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA) regarding sublingual dosing. This protocol is currently taught at the AAOA allergy courses and will likely be used for future SLIT trials. Alternative dosing schedules can be prescribed at the physician’s discretion.

  8. Safe and Effective, Evidence-Based Therapy: Allergy drops are safe and effective for most patients, including children 18 months or older. There are over 100 published articles regarding SLIT, including nine head-to-head studies comparing SLIT and SCIT (subcutaneous immunotherapy). Please see the reference page.

  9. Preservative-Free: The antigens we provide are manufactured using a phenol-free glycerin extraction process. The antigens Embrace Pharmacy uses are in a 50% glycerin solution. This makes the product thermally stable and prevents microbial growth.

  10. Complimentary Implementation Kit: When you are ready to start using our pharmacy services, we will send you a starter implementation kit containing:
    1. Ten prescription forms
    2. Ten payment forms for your patients’ use
    3. Patient education materials: Instruction sheet, patient escalation dose sheet, frequently asked questions sheet, patient consent form, patient waiver
